A new season of the POWER Ligaen is underway, with the defending champions, the talent team, once again making an appearance.
By coming home from a successful trip to Romania and announcing participation in both Thunderpick World Championship 2023 Europe Series 2 and CCT East Europe Series 2 Closed Qualifier, the Talent team is ready to get more official matches under their skin.
POWER Ligaen consists of eight teams, all competing in a Group Stage, where everyone faces each other twice in best-of-one matches, and in the end, the top four qualify for playoffs.
The final champion takes home approximately $9,000.
Only Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen remains from the former lineup, who've won the league back-to-back the last two seasons.
Our newly-recruited ingame leader, Andreas "kiR" Kirstein, is no stranger to the POWER Liga, as he has won the tournament six times.
Our coach, Alexander "alexsomfan" Nielsen, has also won the Danish tournament three times.
So the question is, will the brand-new talent squad manage to secure the domestic title three times in a row?
A three-peat that would be historic for the POWER Ligaen.
