The main team is set for a critical matchup against the Ukranian squad Passion UA tomorrow, with their Shanghai Major hopes hanging in the balance. Following their hard-fought 2-1 victory against Eternal Fire earlier today, the players battled back to stay alive in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR B.
Having won two elimination matches in a row, the squad is looking to complete a reverse sweep in the RMRs and clinch a coveted spot at the Shanghai Major. To do so, the team must secure two BO3 victories, the first one versus Passion UA, against whom they have never previously gone head-to-head.
Passion UA started strong with two BO1 wins against Spirit (13-11) and Virtus.pro (16-14) but later lost their BO3 series to Heroic (1-2) and BIG (1-2). Under coach Mikhaylo “Kane” Blagin, who previously led Natus Vincere to significant victories, Passion UA will be looking to bounce back after the momentum from their initial 2-0 record failed to book them a ticket to the Shanghai Major thus far.

If victorious, the Danish quintet will face the winner of Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. 9 Pandas or Spirit vs. Sashi in the 7th place decider at 13:00 CET, November 24. Only by emerging victorious in two B03 matchups on November 24, 2024, will the squad finally be qualified for the Shanghai major.
