Astralis Talent has signed André 'Zanto' Christiansen from Masonic. With Zanto now on the team, Astralis Talent continues its strategy of developing the brightest stars in esports, while Simon 'sSen' Solnæs will be benched.
Astralis Talent’s coach, Dennis 'Rytter' Rytter, is thrilled about adding Zanto, whom he sees as a key player in the team’s future progress:
"First and foremost, a big thank you to Simon for being a top professional. He has always been dedicated and contributed with positive energy and hard work. Unfortunately, his development has stagnated under the new playstyle we are implementing. We wish him all the best moving forward."
Regarding the addition of Zanto, Rytter adds:
"Zanto is a player we have followed for a long time, and he has already proven his worth at Masonic. He brings energy, potential, and a playstyle that fits perfectly into our new strategy. A big credit goes to Masonic for their work in developing and fostering young players and for helping Zanto grow into the player he is today. I’m excited to start training with him and I am confident that we can elevate Astralis Talent to new heights."
The coach highlights that the goals for 2025 include competing in several international tournaments, which the new roster will aim for.
The 19-year-old Zanto, now wearing the Astralis jersey, looks forward to joining Astralis Talent with high expectations:
"I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to represent Astralis and be a part of their talent team. The team has enormous potential and excellent conditions for developing players, which I simply couldn’t turn down. Expectations for the talent team are high, as it already consists of incredibly skilled players and a strong support system. I look forward to what will hopefully be a successful time with Astralis.
Additionally, I want to extend a big thank you to Masonic for my time with the organization. I have enjoyed every single day at Masonic and wouldn’t trade that time for anything."
