On Wednesday, August 23rd, the women's team's brand-new roster will have another opportunity to qualify for ESL Impact S4 as they enter the second round of open qualification for European Counter-Strike teams.
The online tournament will feature a Single Elimination Bracket, using Bo3 matches (best out of three).
Last week, on August 18th, Aurora "aurora" Lyngdal and her teammates participated in Open Qualifier 1.
In their server debut, the women advanced to the fourth round but were defeated 2-1 by YeYo.
Coach Søren "zibron" Geertsen reflected on the weekend's debut, saying:
- We managed to have great energy, and the atmosphere was nice. We have to continue with that. We have to work on handling the pressure.
Despite some setbacks, zibron's team secured wins against The Mermaids and n01dea.

This week both b0RUP and coach casle will share their thoughts on MR12!
zibron expressed satisfaction with the weekend's performance and is optimistic about Wednesday's qualification.
- We finally got our first real test at the first ESL Impact qualification, and there were both good and less favourable outcomes. Overall, I'm satisfied with how the team performed, though we should have beaten YeYo. Now we must push forward to the qualification starting tonight, zibron says.
He also highlighted many promising aspects of the game.
-Every player had their moments, not just one individual leading the team. We managed to create a positive energy and a pleasant atmosphere. The focus now is on helping players handle the pressure, as some were understandably a bit nervous in official matches.
- We have some game material under review, and luckily we can learn from our mistakes. It's apparent that playing games that matter triggers a different adrenaline rush, but it was a positive surprise to see how committed everyone was, zibron concludes.
Two ESL Impact Season 4 tickets, from September 13th to October 29th, are now up for grabs.
