In the first episode of the "Behind The Stars" documentary, titled "The Bear Is Waking," we zoom in on the legendary in-game leader Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and his long-time friend and teammate, superstar AWPer Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz.

The episode highlights dev1ce's return to Astralis and his readjustment to the stressful life of an esports professional after a break due to stress. Meanwhile, the experienced team captain, gla1ve, is depicted struggling to regain his top form.

As gla1ve struggles with disappointing results and his role as an IGL, the former sports director of Astralis, Kasper Hvidt, is determined to restore the organization and roster's status as one of the world's elite Counter-Strike teams.

Concurrently, dev1ce navigates to find the right balance for self-care and mental well-being amidst Counter-Strike's demanding schedule. Facing these challenges, as if they weren't daunting enough, dev1ce fell ill with influenza during the team's pivotal qualifier for the Paris Major in May. Moreover, the outcomes of the first duels of the qualifier don't necessarily indicate that the Danish squad is close to reaching it's peak performance level.
