A few hours after beating Heroic 13-6 in the opening match of Group A, the main team faced Sashi on their best map, Nuke, which unfortunately resulted in a 8-13 defeat.

Sashi recently acquired the former Espionage squad and has since then improved their results. They went the distance in their first matchup against TheMongolz, but tripped towards the finish line and lost 14-16.

The two squads have yet to face each other. Still, there are familiar faces among Sashi, as former Astralis players Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen and Philip "Lucky" Ewald and former Astralis coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen are on the opposing side.

Comeback Mission Denied

The initial six rounds went back and forth, but at the 3-3 score, Sashi found their groove on the CT side and claimed the first half 9-3.

Astralis slowly but surely snuck back into the game thanks to great teamwork, an excellent jabbi clutch, and important AWP frags from Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz. Despite getting a great start to the second half, Sashi won the match 8-13.
