After a few days in China, it was finally time to get the tournament underway.

Close Rounds During the First Half

About 90 minutes later than the original starting time, the match went live. The Chinese squad began the best-of-one on Ancient on the T-side, where they grabbed the pistol round despite losing all five players.

The Danes got their first round thanks to an essential 2-man spray down from Victor "Staehr" Staehr on B-ramp, which made the round easier, and in the end, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer finished the round, making the score 1-3.

Some of the following rounds came close, with only one player alive on the server in the end, which was also the case in round 6, where blameF succeeded in a 2v1 clutch.

Twelve Rounds in a Row

The Danes finally found the groove, which meant they took the lead 6-4.

Lynn Vision wanted revenge and got off to a great start in round 11, but the duo of blameF and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz had other plans in a 2v4 situation.

The highlights on the CT side didn't stop as our Captain completely shut down the Lynn Vision B-rush.

After an 8-4 half, the Danish quintet seemed unstoppable, which they were on the T-side as they claimed every single round and won the opening match 13-4.

With a 24-5 K/D and a 124.8 ADR, blameF topped the scoreboard and played a massive role in winning 12 rounds in a row to secure the match.

ENCE awaits in the Group A Upper Final in a best-of-three, which is set to begin today, November 8th at 9:20 CET.
