It was a short stint in Pinnacle Cup V for the main team as they were defeated 1-2 by 00NATION in the Semi-final.
The match began on Mirage, the opponent’s map pick.
Surprisingly enough, the legendary map came through the veto, as it’s usually a permanent ban for the Danes.
After a relatively slow start, where 00NATION took the lead 1-5, the Danish squad tied up the score at 6-6, but the opponents still won the first half 6-9.
00Nation won the map 11-16.
The winning ways continued for the opponents on Overpass, as they achieved map and match point at a 2-15 scoreline. Everything seemed lost.
Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and Co. then made an incredible comeback to secure overtime by maintaining great mental strength. 13 rounds in a row.
The suspense was unbearable. It ultimately came down to four overtimes until the Danish quintet evened the overall match score by winning 28-26.
With 44 frags and a 1.23 rating, blameF took the lead on Overpass.
Nuke was the final map, but the Danes were slow starters once again. 00Nation was up 2-6, but with help from Johannes "b0RUP" Borup and Christian "Buzz" Andersen, some rounds were scraped together for the half to end 6-9. In the end, 00NATION claimed the victory with a 9-16 victory and won the match 1-2.
