As Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander has come to an agreement with a new organization, it is time to say goodbye and thank you to one of the cornerstones of Astralis' historic dominance in CS:GO.
Lukas has been on the bench at Astralis for the past 5 months, but the 28-year-old star player has now found his new team, which marks both an ending of a truly amazing Astralis career and a new beginning for the in-game leader.
"With 4 Majors, an endless string of tournament wins, as the captain of the team holding the longest run on top of the world rankings, and being one of those who forever changed the way CS:GO was played, there is good reason why Lukas Rossander is called the best in-game leader ever.
Among the fans, in the team and in the organization, Lukas has always had a special place, as a culture bearer in the creation of the first Danish Major winners, as the man who riled up the fans in difficult periods and as one of those who always went to the front in triumph and defeat.
Lukas, you will forever be a part of Astralis, the Astralis Family and the Astralis history as one of the greatest ever.
On behalf of everyone at Astralis we wish you all the best in the future.
Thank you for everything, Maestro!
Everybody at Astralis"
"The last 7 years have been a life-changing journey. I will always remember Astralis as the greatest team I've ever had the honor of playing for. A family that has always been there for me, the fans, the team working behind the scenes day and night, and of course all my teammates with whom I've shared blood, sweat, and tears with throughout the years," says gla1ve.
"All the memories, all the experiences, and all the achievements are something I will cherish and remember no matter where I go. The last 2 years have taught me a lot of lessons, and I will carry these with me into my next chapter in life. I cannot wait to show everyone what's next, but for now: Thank you all!" says the legendary in-game leader.
