Casper "cadiaN" Møller & his troops secure their first playoff advancement with this roster after beating MOUZ 2-0 in the Group A Upper Bracket Final!

This result follows yesterday's surprising 2-0 victory in the opening game versus the highest-ranked team in the world, Natus Vincere.

The duo of jabbi and stavn were the heavy hitters across the two maps - read more about the win vs. NAVI right here.

An Excellent Map Debut

The Danes chose Vertigo as their map pick, which was very exciting as it was the first time this roster played Vertigo in an official match.

Five rounds in a row were won before MOUZ got their first, meaning the Danes came out swinging in the first half. The domination continued in the first half, courtesy of Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and Martin "stavn" Lund, who reached 14 frags each during the 12 rounds and saw a 10-2 score going into the second half.

The European squad gave it a try in the second half but was ultimately defeated by the Danes 13-7. The experienced AWP'er delivered a masterclass performance, topping the scoreboard with a 1.72 rating, a 22-7 K/D, and an ADR of 92.

Teamwork on Nuke

After beating NAVI on Nuke 13-6 the day before, the players were ready to take on MOUZ's map pick.

The home turf team began the map by winning three straight rounds until the two teams exchanged a few, resulting in a 2-5 scoreline. The Danes, especially dev1ce, who won a crucial 2v1 clutch on A, found their groove and claimed the remaining rounds in the first half.

The second half was closer, as MOUZ took the pistol and the following round. The Danish quintet won multiple consecutive rounds, while MOUZ had trouble stringing consecutive rounds together, affecting their economy and their amount of rounds.

Victor "Staehr" Staehr & Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard played a massive role in the 13-9 map victory as both players crossed 20 frags.

  • dev1ce ends as the top fragger across the two maps with 39 kills.
  • The highest-rated player was Staehr, with a 1.50 rating
  • The Danes won five clutches in the best-of-three.
Staehr had the highest rating on the server today.
