The Danes are still chasing a spot at the Major after eliminating B8 in a tense best-of-three match. The Danish quintet are now 1-2 in the Swiss System and are facing Eternal Fire tomorrow, Saturday, November 23, at ? CET.

Bounce Back Duty

B8 began their map pick, Mirage, by going up 4-1, but the Danes quickly responded with five rounds, eventually leading 7-5 at half-time.

The Main squad had to bounce back again after B8 won the following six rounds, scoring 7-11. Casper "cadiaN" Møller & co. were so close to forcing overtime but were denied by a 4K from Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi.

Victor "Staehr" Staehr fought with everything he had as he achieved a 1.30 rating with 24 frags, only exceeded by npl on the server.

Captain ACE to Kickstart Comeback

The Ukrainian squad surprised the Danes by dominating on Nuke 4-11, and everything seemed lost. Round 17 became a turning point where cadiaN showed what he's made of by pulling off an incredible ace to kickstart the comeback.

Round after round, the Danish quintet slowly crawled back into the game. The players stepped up significantly, whereas Staehr continued his marvelous form this match and even topped the board with a 1.59 rating and 24 frags.

With backs against the wall, the Main team won nine consecutive rounds to secure a third and deciding map.

Amazing Synergy on Ancient

The comeback seemed like a needed confidence boost - and confidence was the keyword for the Danes on Ancient.

Alexander "br0" Bro chimed in with crucial rounds during the first two maps and began Ancient with a 4K to retake the B-site.

br0 did his thing versus B8.

The Danish Captain called a fantastic CT side with top-level synergy between the players.

B8's CT side began well in the second half, achieving nine rounds in total, but in round 22, the Danish soldiers snuck up on the B-site and surprised the enemy players to win the round and claim the match 2-1.

The duo of Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard delivered on the final map, with 19 and 18 frags, respectively, but the first mentioned player achieved the highest rating.
