Today, on December 6th, we faced HEET in the Quarter-Final of CCT North Europe Series 2 and lost a tight match 0-2.
The last time we met HEET, we got defeated in a close 1-2 match in ESL Pro League.
HEET picked Dust II, which didn't bother us at first. Our starting CT side was great, and we finished the first half 9-6.
Despite another top-fragging performance from dev1ce, HEET responded by tying up the score 15-15 and took the win 17-19.
With backs against the wall, we headed into our map pick, Inferno.
The duo of blameF and dev1ce kept performing on the second map.
It was intense as the first half ended 7-8, and it continued after switching to the CT side.
We achieved five rounds in a row, and at a score of 12-8, HEET decided to recreate the trend with five of their own.
We ensured overtime thanks to a smoke on A site and a vital frag from blameF.
The overtime was breathtaking, as it went back and forth between the two teams.
At 16-16, blameF pulled off a marvelous 2v1 clutch, which helped secure double overtime.
Unfortunately, HEET's stamina wasn't gone yet, which resulted in a 19-22 loss.
The margins were with HEET today, which means we are out of CCT North Europe Series S2.
