It no longer requires two players to quickly get onto the Catwalk for defensive positioning.
On Monday, July 23rd, Valve introduced a small yet significant change to the legendary Dust 2 map in Counter-Strike 2. This update follows the recent swap of Dust 2 with Overpass in the competitive map pool back in April.
The notable change is the modification of the crate stack near CT spawn, allowing a player to single-handedly self-boost onto the Catwalk, making defense faster and peeking mid easier.
This update makes the conditions on Dust 2 less T-sided, as the players on the defensive side no longer need a second teammate for a boost to control the Catwalk.
As a result, two CT players can instead immediately focus on A Long.
This latest update marks the first change to Dust 2's layout since its return to the active duty map pool.
