Once again, the Danes faced the world's best team, Vitality, but this time the international roster triumphed by winning the Group Final 1-2.
The Danes won the pistol round, but Vitality's T-side was very strong on their map pick, Inferno, which resulted in a 4-8 half, where especially Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was on fire.
After being down 4-9, the Danish quintet fought back dominantly by completing the comeback and winning nine of the ten remaining rounds to claim the first map 13-10.
Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard was a rock on the T-side and couldn't be touched, while Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz both won crucial rounds single-handedly during the latter part of the match.
The international opponents were hungry for revenge as they swiftly claimed the first four rounds on Mirage. blameF's troops responded by winning four out of the following five rounds, whereas Vitality grabbed the three remaining ones, making the half-time score 4-8.
As on Inferno, ZywOo & Co. got the best start in the second half, securing a 4-11 lead. With their backs against the wall, the Danes put up an incredible defense as they won round after round, eventually taking the second map into overtime. Unfortunately, the 23-year-old French AWP'er, ZywOo, was unstoppable, which helped secure a 14-16 map victory for the International squad.
ZywOo didn't hit the brakes as he continued his warfare on the decider, Nuke. The first half was competitive and felt like a rollercoaster as both teams traded rounds back and forth, ending at a 5-7 half. The opponents gained control of the map from here and won 6-13.
Despite coming out victorious in the first fixture, Vitality claimed the win this time 1-2.
