This week saw the start of the third and last split of the LEC 2023 season. The League of Legends team has once again kicked off a campaign in Berlin, where the regular season will play out over the coming weekends.
In the opening match, the guys went head-to-head with Fnatic, whom they championed in the LEC Spring Split group stage. After losing the first dragons, their deficit in gold and unsuccessful team fights in the mid-game allowed Fnatic to snowball into victory.
On day 2, the squad met a strong Team Heretics who dominated in the early game and managed the grab the drakes from under the guys' noses.
Their efforts to even the game were shattered by Heretic's all-dominating botlaner, "Flakked", and they saw themselves down 0-2 after the first two matches.
The third match of the week started with a good omen as Finn "Finn" Wiestål drew first blood against Team BDS.
After two tough losses, the team fought determinedly to secure a victory in Week 1.
The BDS nexus fell through combined efforts, a 15-3 kill diff, and more than 12k gold lead.
With this dominating win, the team has gained good momentum and confidence going into Week 2.
