This weekend, Marie "marie" Toft from the women's team participated in the prestigious and highly anticipated show match of the BLAST Premier Fall Final at the grand Royal Arena.

The 16-year-old rifler played alongside a Danish lineup assembled by BLAST, featuring former Astralis players such as Magisk, es3tag, Bubzkji, and the legendary Kjaerbye.

It was the first time this young talent from the women's lineup played on a grand stage like the one in the mighty Royal Arena. Nevertheless, she showed great form on the server, facing off against stars like jL, Aleksib, headtr1ck, HObbit, and EliGE.

It's worth mentioning that Marie had some spectacular plays, including knifing Justinas "jL" Lekavicius in the back and tasing Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen with the infamous electroshock weapon, the Zeus X27.

marie: There Wasn't Time to Look at the Kill Feed

"It was certainly a crazy experience going onto the stage. We were lifted up through the floor of the grand stage, and I didn't know what to do with myself when the big crowd emerged. But when we finally stood on the stage in front of the thousands of fans and spectators, it was so incredible to look out over the huge crowd," says Marie.

"It was undoubtedly a great reception from the fans, both on stage and afterward. The audience and the fans were incredibly nice, and many approached me afterward to say hello."

How was it playing with es3tag, Bubzkji, Magisk, and Kjaerbye, all former Astralis players?

"It was so cool to play with all these stars, and when the show match kicked off, the energy and atmosphere in the box were so great. Hopefully, you could also sense that from the crowd."

Did you even have time to realize who you knifed and took out with the Zeus X27?

"Not really, actually," laughs marie.

"It was so hectic; there wasn't time to look at the kill feed, so it was funny to hear the reactions from the other players afterward," marie recounts her sensational takedowns of jL and Aleksib.

Does this experience on the grand stage make you hungry for more experiences like this?

"A hundred percent. This is certainly something I want to experience again. Hopefully, with the women's lineup, I would like to have Aurora and co. by my side. My teammates also deserve an experience like this," notes marie.
