On April 13, our Counter-Strike team lost their BO3 against NIP, and are thus out of the RMRs and will not be playing in the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
Kasper Hvidt, Director of Sports
- This hurts. There's nothing we'd rather do than be a part of the celebration of CS:GO at the last Major.
- Until Tuesday, 2023 has been really uplifting, we entered the RMR with solid progress in terms of results and with great confidence, so it is a huge disappointment that we are not able to bring the momentum into this tournament.
- The format is challenging, but it is the same for everyone, and there are no valid excuses for not living up to our own requirements and expectations. We have not done that, and now for the second time in our history we have to be spectators at a Major.
- The overall goal has not changed, and when we have recovered and thoroughly evaluated everything around this tournament, we will find the way forward again. There are big tasks ahead of us, and regardless of how disappointed we all are, we must be able to use this as fuel and motivation.
