  • Maps: Vertigo, Ancient
  • Format: Best-of-Three (Bo3)

A lot has happened with the Main team's roster since they last met Vitality in the RMR Qualifier in April last year.

Nicolai ’dev1ce’ Reedtz and the IGL Benjamin ’blameF’ Bremer hope for redemption after losing 14-16 in their previous clash against Vitality.

Convincing start to the BLAST

After battling it out and claiming victory (13:8) against Falcons on their map pick Vertigo, things were looking good for the Main team.

With a boosted mentality, they went into Ancient – a comfort pick for the red stars. You could quickly tell how they felt at ease when they won the map with a fast 13:3 victory.

blameF’s thoughts on today’s match against Vitality

The IGL has some concerns going up against what he says is currently the best team in the world.

“We are probably the underdogs for the match against Vitality, which is currently the best team in the world. We have to play our own game and see how well we do. Anything can happen,” blameF states.

blameF’s concerns seem reasonable since Vitality also had a compelling start to the BLAST Spring Groups, going 2-0 against OG.

Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut from Vitality gave the spectators a show with an insane combined K-D of 33-16 for the two maps – a positive K-D of +17.

Possible outcomes for Astralis
