A Shiny Staehr

The German squad came out swinging at the beginning of their map pick, Ancient, as they secured the first four rounds. Two wallbang attempts succeeded for Martin "stavn" Lund in round 5, gaining a 5v3 advantage and ultimately helping the Danes claim their first round. That was a turning point for the Danish roster as they claimed eight rounds in a row and won the map in the second half 13-7. Watch the highlights beneath.

R0nic: Staehr was amazing on Ancient and stavn were incredible on Mirage, but overall the whole team performed as they should.
Getting Warmed Up

After shutting down ALTERNATE aTTaX' B-play in round 7, the fans applauded the Danes' clean round.

Crisp Shots from Donut

Victor "Staehr" Staehr found his groove on Ancient as he kept pulling off some remarkably crisp shots.

A Crucial ACE from Staehr

The 19-year old rifler took down all five opponents in round 17, which was a crucial round for both teams economy-wise.

Staehr reached 21 frags and a 1.86 rating on the opponents' map pick and helped secure a 13-7 victory.

Quick Day at the Office

The Danish quintet chose Mirage as their map pick - which proved to be a wise choice. The pistol rounds favored ALTERNATE aTTaX, but they only achieved a single round besides those. In other words, it was a dominant 13-3 victory for the Danes on Mirage.

During CGW Invitational it will be Mathias "R0nic" Pinholt who stands behind the players.

Here's what he had to say about the match.

"Our biggest problem was the pistol rounds, which meant we didn't get off to a good start, but when we started winning some buy-rounds we got back in the game."

And when asked about individual performances he highlighted both Staehr and stavn.

"Staehr was amazing on Ancient and stavn were incredible on Mirage, but overall the whole team performed as they should."
