Led by in-game leader Casper 'cadiaN' Møller, our newly restructured roster has landed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, ready to bounce back after a tough debut at the Fall Final two weeks ago.

Fortunately, motivation is high, and none of the players are showing signs of jetlag—quite a contrast to the illness that hit the squad after the Spirit defeat at Forum.

cadiaN: "I want to see us succeed in playing the style of CS we aim for. Even though it's still early in the process, I hope that, like in our second match against Spirit at the Fall Final, we can manipulate rotations and get players into their comfort positions."

Now, on Monday, October 7, at 19:00 CEST, cadiaN and Co. are eager to strike back and prove their worth in the upcoming best-of-one clash against Eternal Fire's Turkish lineup.

cadiaN: "We need to prepare for our opponents as best we can and exploit any gaps we find"

Here's what the 29-year-old IGL had to say when we caught up with him from the heart of the iconic Brazilian metropolis:

What will be the most important tactical focus for your team here in Rio, and what do you want to see from your teammates?

"I want to see us succeed in playing the style of CS we aim for. Even though it's still early in the process, I hope that, like in our second match against Spirit at the Fall Final, we can manipulate rotations and get players into their comfort positions. That's the tactical aspect I hope we can achieve," says Casper 'cadiaN' Møller.

"Beyond that, we just need to prepare for our opponents as best we can and exploit any gaps we find in our preparation," the IGL adds.

What has been your main focus in practice since your Fall Final debut?

"Honestly, we haven't had much chance to practice because most of us have been sick. But I can say the past few days have been very productive."

Where do you stand in terms of your map pool, in-game understanding, and role distribution?

"Well, regarding the map pool, we're still somewhat weak because we haven't had many repetitions on various maps. As for in-game understanding, I think we all view CS in a similar way. But, of course, we need to play together more to fully realize that in a real match. We're in the middle of the season with long trips, which makes it tough to get proper pracc, but we'll make it work nonetheless," cadiaN concludes.
