The in-game leader Benjamin "blameF" Bremer was pleased with his team's performance after the Group A Upper Final against ENCE on Wednesday, November 8th.
The 26-year-old captain was outstanding in the Bo1 match against Lynn Vision, achieving an exceptional rating of 2.27 with a 24-5 K/D and a 124.8 ADR. Against ENCE in the Upper Final, blamed once again scored the best rating (1.40), an impressive 40-22 K/D, and an 82.2 ADR.
blameF: We kept our eyes on our own game and strategy. I was all about getting the guys hyped in voice comms during the game, and it looks like it paid off just the way I wanted.
After securing their spot in the Semi-Final on Sunday, November 12th, blameF reflected on the Danes' performance in Group A:
"I'm thrilled with how the team kicked off at the LAN event. Some solid first wins are always a great start; we needed that boost. It's been a while since we've played this well, so snagging two wins and some good vibes was key for us. We're super thankful right now," says blameF.
"When it comes to the results, they're good, but honestly, they weren't our top priority these past months. With a somewhat new lineup, we've been zeroing in on teamwork and building strong bonds within the squad. But yeah, skipping the lower bracket finals and heading straight to the playoffs? That's always a sweet deal.
"As for how I'm feeling right now? So happy! We not only won, but we also clinched it with style. The energy in the arena is great, especially with the Chinese fans going all out with their support. The vibe's just right, and the fans? They're amazing," the IGL states.
What made the difference in these wins?
"We kept our eyes on our own game and strategy. I was all about getting the guys hyped in voice comms during the game, and it looks like it paid off just the way I wanted. The energy was spot on," says blameF.
"Now, we've got to buckle down for some serious pracc in the next few days. We're gonna polish our map pool and ditch the ones that don't work for us. It's all about riding that wave of positive energy, not just chasing after wins," the team captain notes.
