For the first time, Astralis will be participating in the popular and well-established festival called Folkemødet.
This festival has been held since 2011 in week 24 in Allinge.
Attendees of the Danish festival on Bornholm can visit the gaming container developed by Astralis Nexus in collaboration with trade union HK Denmark from Thursday, June 15th to Saturday, June 17th.
The purpose of Astralis' participation in this traditional event is to raise awareness about the rapidly evolving world of esports and foster discussions about gaming, focusing on the strong community and its positive aspects.
Folkemødet itself is a festival that celebrates Danish democracy and community. It takes place in the picturesque harbour town of Allinge, where debates, music, and conversations are held in tents, on ships, in restaurants and cafes, and even outdoors under the open sky.
During this festival, Allinge transforms into Denmark's political hub, where citizens can engage with decision-makers.
Now, with Astralis' presence, attendees can also interact with representatives from the esports organization.
Folkemødet brings together people of all ages, encouraging dialogue, learning, and mutual understanding among participants. The festival is a collaborative effort involving various associations, companies, interest groups, and political parties.
As part of the festival program, attendees can also look forward to exciting events such as a CS:GO match between the Danish National Church and the Atheist Society and a duel between Antidoping Denmark and the Danish Cycling Union.
All these experiences and more await visitors at this year's Folkemøde on Bornholm, where they will have the chance to meet representatives from Astralis and witness the first edition of the Folkemødet Championships in CS:GO.
