In times marked by differences and polarization that unfortunately seem to dominate the narrative in various parts of the world, it's essential, especially during this time of year, to remember all the factors that unite us rather than those that separate us.
The holiday season should always be a time to focus on generosity, family, goodwill, and the joy this particular time of year brings. It's a time to cultivate kindness, express gratitude, and, most importantly, to hold onto hope for a brighter future.
Astralis wishes all our fans, the entire Astralis community, and gamers worldwide a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
We encourage everyone, both in-game and in real life, to show kindness and gratitude to those around them and reflect on all of this year's positive experiences.
To highlight a few recent achievements from our backyard, we've just signed two skilled and ambitious riflers, Jakob 'jabbi' Nygaard and Martin 'stavn' Lund.
The whole organization, not to mention the brand-new dynamic duo, was overwhelmed by the heartwarming support we received at Field's during this month's excellent fan event. While we may not have qualified for the prestigious BLAST Premier Fall Final playoffs, the official fan club of Astralis, DanishCorner, still managed to pull off a fantastic fan march.
Hundreds of enthusiastic gamers marched from the Field's shopping center in Ørestaden to the mighty Royal Arena, ensuring fans could still experience exciting Counter-Strike games.
This fall, we launched the first season of the Behind The Stars documentary, featuring four captivating episodes that offer a raw, in-depth look behind the scenes into the lives of professional gamers.
It captures the highs and lows of the rollercoaster ride of 2023. Fortunately, the reception has been amazing from fans in Denmark and internationally.
One of the most significant news in 2023 is undoubtedly the announcement of a brand-new all-Danish lineup on our Women's team.
In collaboration with the women's roster's new main partner, Netcompany, our organization has taken a big step in presenting women's Counter-Strike from a new angle.
The women's team now comprises five Danish players, led by the Danish-Norwegian resident Aurora 'aurora' Lyngdal, who has been with the women's squad since its inception and is now assuming the role of the team captain and in-game leader.
We also launched our new broadcast channel, Astralis Watch, where Frederik 'minister' Brandt and his Danish co-casters have been streaming live for six months of continuous live streaming. We've focused on the community, providing them with exciting content, player interviews, action-packed matches, and much more.
We will guarantee that there's more to come in 2024, but let's wait for the new year to focus on all the upcoming ambitions.
Let's wish each other a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays one last time and enjoy this time of year with family and friends.
