After they arrive in Indonesia, the Main squad faces the number one ranked team in the world, NAVI, in the Group A opening match at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024.
A few weeks have passed since the squad's IEM Rio 2024 exit, meaning there's been more time to prepare and get the newly acquired IGL, Casper "cadiaN" Møller, integrated into the team.
Seven of the eight attending teams at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 are within HLTV's top 10, whereas the Danes have the opportunity to upset as they're currently ranked #17 in the world.
There's a lot at stake at the World Finals in Singapore. Besides the massive $1,000,000 prize pool, it's the last tier-1 LAN tournament before the Shanghai Major 2024 RMRs begin mid-November and, therefore, one of the last chances to prove yourself.
The tournament consists of eight teams split into two groups of four, all competing in a best-of-three double elimination group stage format, which intensifies at the playoffs stage and then changes to single elimination. The group winner immediately advances to the semi-finals, while the second and third-placed teams advance to the quarter-finals.
Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz & Co. took on NAVI in August at IEM Cologne 2024, where the European squad claimed the victory 0-2. Since then, NAVI has been in even stronger form, meaning there's a huge task ahead for the Danish quintet at the World Finals.
