After a tough showdown against their Danish rivals, Heroic, and losing both on Vertigo and Overpass, the main team bids farewell to the Royal Arena following a 2-0 defeat. This means they are eliminated from the BLAST Premier Fall Finals.
The Danish quintet looked solid on the T side in the first map, with an impressive 8-round streak. Notably, Christian "Buzz" Andersen secured the first half with an 8-4 score, thanks to outstanding clutches. Unfortunately, this momentum didn't persist into the second half, and Heroic claimed their map pick with a 13-8 victory after a lackluster CT-side performance from the Danes.
The squad fought to stay in the game in the first half of the second map but ended the T side trailing 4-8.
After a great effort to stay in the game on Overpass, with Nicolai "device" Reedtz topping the charts with 32 kills, the team took the game to overtime.
However, despite their best efforts, they could not convert the rounds needed to win in the first overtime and eventually fell 13-16 on their map pick.
This result meant that blameF and his team ended up losing 2-0 to Heroic, cutting their journey in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals short and leading to their elimination.
Nothing the guys wanted more than to play in the arena in front of all the Astralis fans. Today, both their hearts and those of the entire organization are broken. Tomorrow, we all pick up the pieces and find ourselves again.
