  • Tournament: BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024
  • Format: Best-of-three (BO3)
  • Stage: Upper Bracket Final in Group A

  • Result: 2-1 (13-10 on Mirage, 6-13 on Vertigo and 13-4 on Overpass)

With a determined comeback, the Main team clawed their way back from a 2-6 deficit on Mirage, eventually prevailing in a nail-biting 13-10 map win. The Danes' performance on Overpass was even more impressive, as they orchestrated a masterclass of tactical brilliance and clinical execution, demonstrating fearless confidence with Benjamin 'blameF' Bremer's razor-sharp aim and decisive calls.

Thus, the impressive result of this intense showdown was that the Danish lineup defeated one of the world's best Counter-Strike teams in a 2-1 series.

The win stands out as a culmination of the roster's excellent start to 2024 and a testament to the potential of this new lineup. The energy was electric, and the team looked unstoppable at the BLAST studio. As blameF and his teammates now prepare to face the Group A consolidation final winner, the squad is poised to continue its remarkable run.

Mirage

Mirage was a nail-biter since both teams had their moments, and the match was tied up several times. Thanks to a well-playing Martin "stavn" Lund, great calls from Benjamin "blameF" Bremer, and gaining 2/2 pistol rounds, the match was won 13-10.

  • stavn was especially on fire. He was the best Dane on the server, reaching a 21-14 K/D and a 1.26 rating.
  • Vitality's Shahar 'flameZ' Shushan and Lotan 'Spinx' Giladi were both impressive on Mirage, achieving 21 and 23 frags, respectively.

Vertigo

Vitality's map pick, Vertigo, was close as well, but mainly in the first half, which ended 5-7 in favor of French super-AWPer Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Co. The opponents' T-side was too strong, and they quickly closed the map 6-13.

  • ZywOo had a 1.79 rating on Vertigo.
  • Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, our superstar AWPer, won all seven duels against Dan 'apEX' Madesclaire.

Overpass

The Danes bounced back from the unfortunate Vertigo loss by winning six exceptional rounds in a row, taking an early lead, which helped shape the first half, ending 9-3.

Another pistol secured meant 5/6 pistol rounds for the day and was crucial to lock down the French opponents and dominantly win the map 13-4 and the match 2-1.

  • The Danes won four clutches on Overpass.
  • blameF claimed the top spot on the scoreboard with a 20-9 K/D and a 1.75 rating.
  • dev1ce and ZywOo won an even amount of five duels against each other.
