Storming Through IEM Dallas 2023 Europe Open Qualifier #1

Our Counter-Strike team have won their way through IEM Dallas 2023 Europe Open Qualifier #1. Now, they have a spot in the IEM Dallas 2023 Closed Qualifier. Our team overcame 511 other competitors to claim one of the two coveted spots for progression.

On March 22, our team won all their best-of-one matches. They beat Gigachad (16-4), MixKings (16-5), 777 Esports (16-9), and 359eSports (16-2). On March 23, they kept winning. They defeated 1WIN (16-6), Iron branch (16-10), and won the best-of-three game against HEET (2-0). The scores were 16-8 on Inferno and 16-10 on Nuke.

In the pivotal match against HEET, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and Benjamin "blameF" Bremer truly shone. Dev1ce achieved a remarkable +18 K-D with a 1.52 rating, while blameF boasted an impressive +20 K-D and an identical 1.52 rating. Teammates Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, Christian "Buzz" Andersen, and Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth also contributed significant performances, resulting in a well-rounded effort.

With our win in the open qualifier, our team moves to the IEM Dallas 2023 Europe Closed Qualifier. It will be from March 31 to April 3, 2023. We will compete with seven other strong teams. These teams are fnatic, Cloud9, OG, Spirit, sYnck, and two more teams from the second open qualifier. The top contenders will vie for a spot in the prestigious IEM Dallas 2023 event.
