The talent team is preparing for their final significant tournament before the player break.
This weekend, they will participate in the Power Ligaen domestic cup playoffs, which will be held in the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Aarhus.
Unfortunately, the playoffs will proceed without the experienced player Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, who will not be part of the talent roster.
Instead, Mikkel "Maze" Sparvath, who usually plays for Ambush, will stand in for this weekend's matches.
Xyp9x's absence is a consequence of him being granted permission to take a vacation during the traditional player break some time ago, which prevents his participation in the upcoming action.
During the group play phase, the team showcased their prowess by securing victories in 11 out of 14 matches, ultimately earning their spot in the playoffs.
Their next challenge awaits on Saturday, June 17th, at 14:00 CEST, as they face off against MASONIC in the semi-final.
The outcome of this match will determine the Danish Quintets' qualification for the grand final.
The tournament's prize pool is 80,000 Danish kroner in total.
In the playoffs' other semifinal, Atlantic will compete against Sashi Esport.
Patrick "Patti" Larsen from the talent squad currently holds the highest rating (1.26) among all players participating in the POWER Ligaen.
His teammate, Kristoffer "Kristou" Aamand, secures the second-best rating (1.13), making him the runner-up.
The Talent emerged as the champions of the Power Ligaen in the previous season, and they are determined to repeat their success this weekend.
