The long-awaited Major has been announced with PGL as tournament organizer. The Major was cancelled for all of 2020 so the next will feature a total of 2 million dollars in prize money.
The PGL Major will take place in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden from October 23 - November 7. However PGL has stated that the event will only take place if all COVID-safety protocols can be met.
The last Major was held in Berlin in September, 2019 and saw Astralis take the trophy. Same goes for the Major before that in Katowice so it's a several year-long honor Astralis has to defend come October.
