The Women's team, now under the leadership of newly appointed in-game leader Katharina 'KitKat' Bauenmand, is gearing up to compete in the ESL Impact League Season 6 Europe Division, running from August 28 to October 20.

This prestigious online tournament features a fierce group stage where two single round-robin groups of six teams each will battle it out in best-of-three (BO3) matches. With high stakes on the line, the group winners will secure their places in the LAN Finals, while the following two teams from each group advance to the Play-In Stage.

Our readjusted women's roster finds itself in Group B alongside strong teams like Let Her Cook, NAVI Javelins, NIP Impact, Team Spirit Female, and ENCE Athena.

The competition will be intense, promising thrilling matches throughout the tournament.

KiTKaT: "Our Goal Is to Go as Far as Possible"

We had a quick chat with KiTKaT to touch base on the women's lineup's goals, ambitions, and energy as they gear up for the Impact League S6.

"Our goal is to go as far as possible and show what we're capable of. We have a lot to offer, both in firepower and with our experience from GUILD fe. We're a new team, and it's important for us to get to know each other, build a strong map pool, and prepare well for our upcoming Impact matches," says KiTKaT.

The players have already completed their first boot camp together at the gaming hub Astralis Nexus, where the focus, along with sports director Kasper Starube, was to lay the foundation of a strong, unified team.

"The energy is great; we get along well and are all eager to learn. Ismo and Marie are incredibly skilled, each with their own strengths. The boot camp at Nexus was fantastic—everyone was very professional, and it was great to put faces to names and get to know everyone better!

"I've felt very welcomed by everyone at Astralis organization, and my teammates have been especially helpful and supportive in my new role as IGL," KiTKaT states.

On July 16, it was announced that Thea "pullox" Evensen, Linnea "Nea" Claesson, and Katharina "KiTKaT" Bauenmand joined our Women's squad, all recruited from ex-Guild Esports.

The full match schedule for the ESL Impact League S6 Europe Division hasn't been released yet, but as soon as it's announced, we'll update you.
