The legendary event IEM Katowice begins today with $972,000 up for grabs. Mousesports made their way into the Main Event from play-ins and has landed before Astralis. The match takes place February 18, 15:30 CET.
And so the race for the IEM trophy begins, the same kind that Astralis took home from IEM Global Challenge at the end of 2020.
Astralis is 4-0 in maps from the most recent match-ups against Mousesports but the German organization has since made some changes yet to be tried against the defending IEM champions.
The winner of the match moves on to the upper bracket semifinal of the group while the loser moves to the lower bracket.
