On Tuesday, September 10, at 13:30 CEST, our lineup, led by Nicolai 'dev1ce' Reedtz, will clash with fnatic's European roster in the upper bracket opener of Group C.
The last time we hit Malta, the team powered through to the semi-finals before an intense matchup with Vitality knocked us out. This time, we'll face teams like MOUZ, Rooster, Imperial, BIG, Complexity, and M80 to reach the playoffs.
Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard has confidence in the squad and believes they'll bounce back stronger this time. We asked jabbi to share his three bold predictions for Group C—here's what the 21-year-old lurker had to say:
Who advances from the group, and who will face off in the Upper Final matchup?
"I expect us to advance, and I think MOUZ will go through as well. We're the two best teams on paper, but of course, anything can happen."
"I hope it will be us and MOUZ. We're on opposite sides of the bracket, so it would be an exciting showdown if we meet in the upper bracket!"
Who will end up in the Lower Final matchup?
"Based on my previous answer, the Lower Final will be Imperial versus Complexity. We'll win the upper bracket against MOUZ, so luckily, we won't be there if my prediction is correct, haha!"
Which team will be the group stage's highlight — a 'one to watch'?
"You always have to keep an eye on the Brazilian teams, but I'd say it'll probably be either us or MOUZ causing the most damage in Group C."
