The Grand Final in BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 took place today against Heroic, who we, sadly, were defeated by 0-2.

With victories against Eternal Fire (#19) and Vitality (#1), we found ourselves in the Grand Final versus the ninth-best team in the world, Heroic.

In September, we faced Heroic in ESL Pro League Season 16, which came down to the wire in a devastating 1-2 loss with tight scores of 19-17, 12-16, and 13-16.

We were looking for revenge this time, and the path started on our map pick, Ancient. It took a while to get comfortable, but after a tough T-side on Ancient, we slowly but surely crawled back into the game.

With aggressive and essential plays, MistR was a defining factor in securing the comeback to overtime. We went back and forth in the first overtime, tying it at 18-18 to start the second OT.

MistR sneaking up behind enemy lines in round 38 was a nerve-wracking moment but crucial to even the score, 19-19. Following that, Farlig won a vital 1v1 clutch, earning us one round lead.

Despite a great fight from the team, we were defeated 20-22 on Ancient.

As if MistR hadn't done enough, he starts the map with the first blood being a knife kill on jabbi, helping the team to get the two rounds.

Heroic bounced back, gaining five rounds in a row, but an excellent pistol round with only one saved M4A1-S on blameF ended their winning streak.

6-9 was the score at half-time, meaning we had to make another comeback like on Ancient. Unfortunately, Heroic defeated us on their map pick 10-16, regardless of a tremendous effort from the team.

We leave the BLAST Fall Showdown with a silver medal and a prize of 12.660 Euros. Our next tournament is Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, which takes place from November 16th to November 20th.
