Following the Pro League exit, Director of Sports Kasper Hvidt looks ahead:
- Needless to say, we didn’t get the results we wanted, but the team has done extremely well in a very short time with a new line-up and changing roles on the server. The team and coach deserve respect for their approach and dedication, and right now time is our best friend.
- For EPL, Andreas “Xyp9x” sat out, however, as mentioned when we signed “Lucky”, everybody will have a role on the team over the coming months. We have a big task ahead of us, and everybody here is ready to contribute.
- Concurrent with our day-to-day progress, we also work long term. Extending the contract with our captain and backbone of the team, Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and bringing in “Lucky” are examples of doing both. We add new energy and much needed AWP skills to improve our immediate game, while securing the continuity in both our in-game development and team culture.
- We aim to be a real contender for the titles at stake this fall. We have work to do, but I have a great belief that, through the way we do things in this house and through the work of our players and our coach, we will be a real contender when it matters the most, says Hvidt.
