POWER Ligaen Season 24 has officially begun, and both the Talent- and the Women's team have been battling.
Andreas "kiR" Kirstein and his troops faced XI Esport on Overpass in their first game of the season.
The boys in red started on the CT side, which also became dominant, as eleven rounds in a row were won. XI Esport claimed their first afterward but couldn't capitalize more, making the score 14-1 at halftime.
Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen showed no mercy towards the opponent as he went 21-9 in the first half.
In the second half, XI responded with four rounds in a row, but ultimately, it wasn't enough for the comeback as the Talent team won 16-5.

With the brand-new lineup's first appearance in POWER Ligaen, the first week was about testing the waters.
Now they know the level of competition in POWER Ligaen 4th Division C.
Unfortunately, it ended with four defeats in the first week of the domestic league:
- We kicked off the POWER league yesterday and emerged from the first week with four defeats. It wasn't quite the season start we had hoped for, but even in our losses, we found victories. I say this because we believe that we gain more in-game knowledge from losing matches than winning them; it allows us to learn from our mistakes and avoid repeating them.
- Ølgod efterskole came out strong, to put it mildly, and we faced a tough challenge. Therefore, we must ensure that we are fully prepared from the very beginning, and our sights are set high for the upcoming rematch! The match against Ducator eSport was of a slightly different caliber, and we were in control for most of the game. However, in the end, we had to accept defeat. Our rotations and flashes weren't quite up to par, which proved costly in the closing rounds, where we ended up losing to ourselves, zibron states.
