On Monday, October 7, our Main team, now led by new in-game leader Casper 'cadiaN' Møller, will face the Turkish lineup of Eternal Fire (ranked 6th in the ESL world rankings) in the opening round (Bo1) of the Group B upper bracket.
After some rough patches with our newly adjusted lineup in its debut at the BLAST Premier Fall Final, our Danish quintet seeks retaliation at IEM Rio 2024 in Brazil, where four of the world's top five teams — Natus Vincere, G2, Vitality, and MOUZ — will also be attending.
Sixteen teams are battling it out for a share of the $250,000 prize pool.
The teams are divided into two groups of eight and will compete in a double-elimination best-of-three format, except for the opening matches, which will be intense best-of-one duels.
The top six from each group will advance to the playoffs at the Farmasi Arena, where the quarterfinals will feature No. 2 vs. No. 3 seeds. The group stage winners will await the victors in the semifinals.
