The eChampions League Qualifiers are fast approaching and Feldman is gearing up to represent Astralis in the tournament.
The eCL begins on February 1, starting with the online qualifiers, which Feldman will be participating in on February 13-14. The knockout rounds will follow on May 1-2, with the finals going down on May 28.
The top 64 European players from the FGS 19 and FGS 20 Best Lists will be invited directly to participate in the eCL Online Qualifiers Stage II, along with the top 32 players from the FGS 21 European Regional Best Lists. This is how Feldman earned his official invite to the Second Stage.
In Stage I Qualifiers all verified players can take part. Afterwards, those qualified from Stage I and the nominated players from Stage II will compete against each other. This part of the tournament will be divided into groups, Swissround and Double Elemination, where a total of 128 players will be battling it out. The best 32 players will go head to head again at a later stage in the tournament, which is likely to unfold during May. Finally, the top 8 players will meet in the grand final, which is expected to take place by the end of May.
The players are fighting for a total prize pool of $280.000.
Before jumping into the eCL however, Feldman is going through his third qualifier on February 6-7. Indeed, that's a big month ahead.
