Just under two months have passed since Johannes "b0RUP" Borup and Victor "Staehr" Staehr joined the main team, and their integration now appears well-established.
The Danish quintet's successful run to the semifinals of the prestigious IEM Cologne 2023 hints at a promising future for the team.
Upon their arrival at Astralis Headquarters in June, b0RUP and Staehr were greeted by organizational staff eager to learn more about the new additions. The players, in turn, were more than happy to oblige, answering many questions from enthusiastic fans.
In a subsequent Q&A session, the players offered insights into their objectives and future aspirations, further shedding light on their evolving roles within the team.
What goals do you guys have both as a team and individually?
b0RUP: - Individually, I'm trying to find myself at the top again. And as a team, I believe it's about winning trophies.
Staehr: - Individually, you always want to be at your own best level. And I'm getting a lot of opportunities to chase that at Astralis, so I'm looking forward to that. And to show what I can do. As a team, I hope we can win some tournaments in the future. And, of course, go to the major in Copenhagen.
