When our women's team returns from the player break, they will be ready to compete in the open qualifiers for the ESL Impact League Season 6 Europe, as all the action kicks off in August.
On Tuesday, June 25, the dates for the open qualifiers, the league itself, and the prestigious playoffs in Stockholm were revealed.
All three regions—Europe, North America, and South America—will have two open qualifiers each. The first will run from August 4 to August 6, and the second from August 9 to August 11.
A total of four teams from each region will advance to their respective leagues through these qualifiers.
The leagues will be played from August 28 to October 30, and eight teams will advance to the LAN finals during DreamHack in Stockholm in November.
From November 22 to November 24, 2024, the ESL Impact Season 6 Finals (LAN) will take place with a prize pool of $150,000.
However, our women's lineup will first need to excel in the open qualifiers, the initial step on the road to the finals.
Five teams from Europe, two from South America, and one from North America will qualify for the LAN finals.
Several spots in the regional leagues are already filled based on the results from the latest season of ESL Impact:
Our women's roster, led by our former in-game leader Aurora "aurora" Lyngdal, qualified in the spring for the ESL Impact League Season 5 Europe. However, their stint in Group A resulted in five losses, ultimately finishing in 11th-12th place.
Now, our newly readjusted women's lineup is eager to retaliate and show what it is capable of.
