  • Clinched a solid 2-0 victory against FaZe
  • Secured a dominant 2-0 win over Virtus.pro

Let's say it out loud as it should be said: It's been a hell of a run until now for our Main team at the IEM Chengdu 2024 LAN Tournament.

And what a debut for our newly redefined roster, featuring our legendary AWPer, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, as the in-game leader (IGL) for the very first time.

He has led us to finish the group stage with a perfect 5-0 in maps, an impressive 9-1 in pistol rounds, and a 71.4% round win rate alongside his high-performing teammates.

Crushing All Opposition

dev1ce and Co. are undefeated, crushing all opposition on their path, and are now ready for a semi-final berth at their first big event playoff since IEM Cologne 2023.

The decision to switch our star AWPer to the role of IGL has paid off so far, and Alexander "br0" Bro's entry, allowing Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard to return to their preferred CT rotation positions, has also proved to be a wise move.

Just look at the Top 5 of the Group Stage Leaderboard, where three players from our lineup are represented.

In both matches against Virtus.pro, on Overpass and Vertigo, the Dzhami "Jame" Ali-led Russians were limited to only seven round wins or fewer—just like all other opponents our main squad faced at this event in China.

As a result, our team has secured a top-four finish at IEM Chengdu, with stavn finishing the match with an event-high 1.61 rating, earning him the number one spot on the Group Stage Leaderboard, closely followed by dev1ce with a 1.45 rating. jabbi claimed the number five spot with a 1.35 rating.

  • stavn: 1.61 rating
  • device: 1.45 rating
  • Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov (G2): 1.35 rating
  • Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev (Virtus.pro): 1.3 rating
  • jabbi: 1.35 rating

Top Team Rating of the Group Stage

Our lineup takes the top spot as a team with an overall 1.35 rating and five map wins.

  • Astralis: 1.35 rating
  • FaZe: 1.15 rating
  • G2: 1.13 rating
  • Virtus.pro: 1.11 rating
  • Nemiga: 1.11 rating

On Friday, April 12, at 12:15, the quarter-final match between Liquid and FaZe will determine our opponent in the semi-finals.
