casle: Buzzing to see the rebuilt lineup take to the server

Headlines were made in late June with the signing of two players, the up-and-coming 18-year-old Victor "Staehr" Staehr, and seasoned player Johannes "b0RUP" Borup.

With the first games just around the corner, head coach Peter "casle" Ardenskjold is buzzing to see the rebuilt lineup in action.

He emphasizes the importance of being realistic about their prospects since they have only trained for eight days before their first matches.

- We're certainly looking forward to the Gamers8 Europe Open Qualifier, casle says.

- This will be our first official match as a brand-new roster, and it's also a tournament that will feature some of the strongest teams in the world, so there's a lot at stake in the next week.

- We can only be partially sure of our team dynamics after eight days in the practice room. However, I look forward to seeing the new lineup in action for the first time, Peter "casle" Ardenskjold says.

- As usual, we will approach the matches with thorough preparations and a strong focus on ourselves and our strengths.

- Right now, I don't allow myself to have too high hopes; we have to start by estimating our level and understanding how well we work together.

The second phase of the Europe Open Qualifier will see its opening matches at 18:00 CEST.

The day will wrap up with the Round of 16, hopefully seeing blameF and company in action.

Approaching the qualifier with renewed optimism

Now boasting a reshuffled lineup and two new players, the Danish team is recharged and ready to tackle the qualifier with a fresh surge of optimism.

They set their sights on the gaming festival in Riyadh from August 16th to August 20th.

The LAN tournament offers a big prize pool worth $1,000,000.

The Gamers8 2023 event already has 16 confirmed teams, but there's still a chance for the Danish team to clinch their place at Gamers8 through the second qualifier.
