br0: "We all have a good influence on dev1ce's decisions, but in the end, he has the authority to make the call."
After the match, the Danish broadcaster Retake had the pleasure of interviewing Alexander "br0" Bro in an engaging post-match talk.
Were you surprised by your team's dominance in this match?
br0: "We knew right from the start which strats we wanted to use, and what they would likely do, so it was pretty easy to set up a game plan around that. It was obvious to me that the rounds they got were because of their successful pistol rounds."
What were your thoughts on going straight through the smoke near the B site?
br0: "I wanted us to get the necessary information to make the right calls. Let's say there was no one on the other side of the smoke; then we would know that for sure and could quickly rotate to A. We didn't have any more nades to defend B, and the timing was good compared to how the whole map had played out until then. If they were heading for B, we would be two to take them on, and they would likely be surprised that we were ready with two after my initial peek."

How do you feel about your role in the game? Does it feel like a success even if you die?
br0: "It feels 100% like a success, whether I die or not. If we win the rounds, that's all that matters. And if we win the rounds dominantly, that's the cherry on top. If I remember correctly, there weren't many rounds where we had to fight for it. Maybe only their force round on the CT side of Mirage was a bit tough. Otherwise, we played well as a team!"
You lost to Vitality, one of the very best teams in the world, twice, but on the other hand, you defeated both Falcons and NIP, teams you should beat. What does that tell you?
br0: "Vitality is just a strong team. When we play against them, they seem to freestyle a bit, while we have to try different strats and aim for perfect CS, putting our individual touch on each round. The Vitality guys are solid at just shooting their way out of problems. But I feel like we are doing very well now and on the right track."
How much did dev1ce's game plan contribute to your success against NIP?
br0: "We all have a good influence on dev1ce's decisions, but in the end, he has the authority to make the call."
