After the Semi-final, Casper "cadiaN" Møller, the IGL for the Danes, spoke about their performance at the BLAST World Finals 2024.
- "The great thing is that we see all the strengths and all the great things we do, but it's not like I'm gonna look in the dark for improvements. I see plenty of areas where we can improve."

The Danish squad had three players within the top five highest-rated players at the BLAST Premier World Final 2024. stavn, dev1ce, and jabbi all had a tremendous tournament, locking in spots alongside Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut.
Coming into the BLAST Premier World Final 2024, one of the most stacked tournaments of the year, the outside expectations weren't exactly high, as captain cadiaN said in an interview with HLTV regarding the opening matchup versus NAVI: "Nobody is expecting us to do much against them."
The expectations were exceeded as the Danes began their tournament campaign by beating the highest-ranked team in the world, Natus Vincere, in a convincing fashion, 2-0.
The trio of Martin "stavn" Lund, Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard, and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz kickstarted the tournament well by pulling off excellent performances, with stavn topping the scoreboard in the opening victory.
On the other side of the bracket, MOUZ beat FaZe to advance to the Group A Upper Final, facing cadiaN and his companions.
The first time this iteration of Astralis played Vertigo was successful, comfortably defeating MOUZ, ranked fourth in the world, 13-7. The experienced AWPer, dev1ce, led the charge on Vertigo with a 1.72 rating.
Coming back from a 2-5 half, the Danish quintet won MOUZ's map pick, Nuke, 13-9, where Victor "Staehr" Staehr especially shined.
By winning against MOUZ, the Main team advanced directly into the Semi-final, where they eventually met Team Spirit in a best-of-three.
The first two maps became one-sided affairs, with Spirit taking their map pick 5-13 and the Danes winning Vertigo 13-3, where dev1ce and stavn played huge roles.
Unfortunately, the decider, Ancient, followed the trend and was convincingly won by the opponents 5-13, ultimately defeating the Danes 1-2.
