Astralis is ready to take on Evil Geniuses for the first time in more than a year

The time has finally come, to kick off the BLAST Premier Global Final. The tournament is the culmination of the 2020 season, bringing the highest level of competitive Counter-Strike. Eight teams have qualified for the competition and Astralis is launching the event in a Bo3 against Evil Geniuses later today, Tuesday, January 19.

Today also marks Astralis' five year anniversary, and it seems more than fitting to celebrate the day with the start of a new tournament.

It has been more than a year since Astralis and Evil Geniuses last went head to head, that was during the ECS Season 8 Finals in November 2019, where Astralis claimed the victory 2-1. Astralis' in-game leader, gla1ve seems more than ready to repeat that success.
