On December 15, the best teams of Europe and North America will face each other one last time in 2020 in a $500,000 tournament.
The IEM Global Challenge already locked in Vitality and Chaos (qualified from winning IEM Beijing in EU and NA respectively), Heroic from winning DreamHack Open Fall and Furia from winning IEM New York.
Now, Astralis has qualified through the ESL World Ranking where the team is ranked 4th. They join the likes of NAVI and Complexity in the prestigious 2020 final.
Five teams from Europe, three teams from North America. Evil Geniuses booked the last spot from NA by being the highest ranked team not already qualified.

The tournament running from December 15 to December 20 will be held online in a Double Elimination BO3 Group Stage and Single Elimination BO3 Playoffs format. The two last standing teams will clash in a BO5 to determine who ends the year on top.
