Staying alive in Düsseldorf
Wednesday, March 30, Astralis Counter-Strike began the Group Stage run in Pro League and to much success. With 3 wins out of 5 games the team has booked the final spot in the playoffs.
k0nfig and blameF, who have been part of the team for just shy of 6 months, keep shining in the Astralis jersey. The former Complexity-duo is the third best rated player (blameF) and fifth best rated player (k0nfig) in Group D respectively.
Two debuts
Pro League was the debut for the team's AWP'er, farlig, putting up a respectable performance in the 5 games, considering it is his first event with the team.
Pro League was also the debut of trace as Head Coach of the main Counter-Strike team. People watching the broadcast from home were witnesses to a loud, supportive coach giving it his all even when the team had their backs against the wall in some of the match ups.
Long road ahead
Before the team can even begin to think about a Grand Final, there are a long list of tough challenges ahead. Astralis' playoffs begin Wednesday, April 6, 15:30 CEST against Entropiq.
