5 years ago, Astralis and HP signed the first commercial partnership agreement, and today, the two brands announce yet another extension of Astralis’ longest-running commercial partnership.
The new agreement includes an integration of AMD into the partnership, with a renewed focus on activation around the teams, in new content on Astralis’ digital channels and in Astralis Nexus, the esports organization’s two-story 1,200 sqm gaming and event center in the heart of Copenhagen.
Line Bermann – Event and Partnership Manager for gaming – Northwest Europe, OMEN
- Given that our partnership with Astralis is yet again extended and expanded to include AMD and other new elements, needless to say, we are very proud of partnering up with one of the leading esports organizations in the world. Together, we will continue to push the limits and promote the positive values in gaming.
- In 2023, we will focus on young people, providing a positive break from their daily life and from the exposure to negative news that, at times, can feel overwhelming to all of us. We believe in a healthy balance in life, and through the partnership with Astralis, we aim to contribute with positive moments, entertainment, and new communities, online and physically, in Astralis Nexus.
Kasper Sindt, Commercial Director in Astralis
- Omen’s uncompromising attitude towards quality is a cornerstone in everything we do together. The partnership is the longest-running agreement in Astralis, and today OMEN/AMD is an integrated part of our teams and of what we offer to the visitors, B2B and B2C, in Astralis Nexus.
- This will become increasingly clear over the coming months. In Nexus, the OMEN/AMD VIP facilities will be the center of a range of events, and the partnership will not only be visible throughout Astralis Nexus; we are also going to launch content and activation, focussing on giving the younger part of our audience new on- and off-line types of entertainment and community engagement.
- The extension and expansion of the agreement and commercial partnership is a testament to ours and OMEN’s position in the world of esports and gaming, and we’re proud to continue the development of both our brands together.
The agreement has been extended by 12 months, which is the standard for all Commercial Partnership contracts at OMEN. The parties have agreed not to comment on specifics around the financial side of the agreement.
