Today, February 5, we secured a spot in the Semi-Final of CCT North Europe Series #3 after a 2-0 win against 9INE.
The $50,000 tournament started on January 25 and ends tomorrow, February 6, where both the Semi- and the Grand-Final are being played.
On 9INE's map pick, Vertigo, Xyp9x started the match with four USP frags in the first round. That kickstarted our CT side, where we won the following five rounds.
9INE responded with four rounds in a row, making the score 6-4. Buzz ended the half with 14 frags and helped take the lead 9-6.
He didn't slow down on the T side, as we quickly gained map point at a 15-7 score. 9INE fought back but couldn't stop Buzz from securing the map with a 2v1 clutch.
Our newest addition ended the map with 27 frags and a 1.56 rating!
The first half of Ancient became a more even affair, but at 4-4, dev1ce pulled off a marvelous 1v3 clutch for us to take the lead.
Despite gaining momentum after the clutch, 9INE found some footing at the end of the half, making the score 8-7.
9INE started their T-side with two rounds in a row but needed help scaping them together after that.
blameF and Buzz were two of the difference makers on Ancient, as they reached 25 and 20 frags in the 16-11 map win.
