Astralis, Preasy and Alexander "altekz" Givskov have today agreed on a transfer that sends the Astralis Talent player on to the ambitious Danish esports organization with immediate effect.
Kasper Straube, Sports Director:
- Alex has been the organization's man through and through. He has both been an important player for the Astralis Talent team and shown his potential for our first team, and I have no doubt he has a very interesting future ahead of him. I am glad we've reached an agreement that's both good for Astralis and gives the player the opportunity to prove himself in new surroundings.
- You’re not supposed to be an academy or talent player all your life, and as we’ve decided that he is not going to be a part of the first team in any immediate future and we’re working on a new talent roster, it's only natural to fiund an alternative that suits him better. There have been several offers, but at this time Alex wanted to play on a Danish team, and Preasy is a great opportunity for him.
- On behalf of Astralis, I would like to express a big thank you for the efforts and the very best of luck in the future to Alex, who in every way has shown himself to be a true professional and a good teammate, says Straube.
The parties agree not to comment further on the content of the agreement.
