After Nail-Biting Finish: Ending up in 7th-8th place

June 12, 2023

On June 8th, the main team had a chance for redemption in the lower final of the BLAST Premier Spring 2023 LAN tournament in Washington, D.C., as they aimed to bounce back after a tough defeat to FaZe in the opening round.

However, despite their best efforts, the Danish Quintet couldn't turn the tables in their favour against Complexity (#23).

The series ended in a thrilling 2-1 defeat, with the match coming down to the final decider map, Overpass.

Unfortunately, Alexander "Altekz" Givskov, the young rifler who played a crucial role in Dallas, faced difficulties on the first map and struggled further while playing on the T side of Ancient.

Despite his challenges, the match remained closely contested.

Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz stepped up with strong performances, leading their team's comeback after losing the first map, Vertigo, by a narrow 16-14 scoreline.

Their efforts helped force a decider map in the closely fought match.

Despite a valiant effort and intense competition on Overpass, the Danes, led by Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, fell short with a bitter 16-14 loss on the final map.

As a result, they finished the tournament with 7th-8th place, a disappointing outcome after their strong performances in Dallas.

  • Next up: gla1ve and the team are now facing a much-needed summer break which will allow them to recharge and prepare for a new era with Counster-Strike 2 on the horizon.
